Hey!
So I installed SD3 about a week ago, and later moved/reinstalled everything onto an external HD.
Now it won´t install the midi packs, so the Grooves” tab is empty and I cant install the new ones. When using the Product Manager, I click install, and the installer runs and everything, but when it finishes and close the window, nothing happens, and it shows that it is still not installed.
Is this a known probkem?

Hi,
how did you move the MIDI repository?
If you check the Libraries page in the SD3 settings and scroll down to the bottom, what does it say on the ‘Additional libraries’ location?
Is that location corresponding to where you moved your MIDI?
Which version number is displayed in the SD3 window?

John

I basically just moved the install files to the disk, and did a new install.
When I try to install the midi packs (just bought one yesterday) it wont install, and I dont get to choose where to install it.
I spent some time yesterday looking at how to fix this, and the closest I could find to something that looks like a solution is to link to the Library/Application Support/ – and find the midi library there, but i cant link it up, or maybe I am trying to link the wrong file or folder (tried every combination possible). What file/folder am i specifically looking to link?
dropping some screenshots below to show what I´m seeing.
Thanks for your help so far
Problem solved!
Thank you for helping me think! haha
I had the additional libraries linked to the wrong disk, and looking over this again to explain my problem made me realize where the mistake was.
Thank you so much. I appreciate it
