Can’t install METAL! ezx in ez drummer 1

I need help.. i have ez drummer 1 and i just bought the metal! expansion but i can’t install because it says you need to upgrade your toontrack software to the latest version before you can install this product… i’ve already downloaded all the updates for ez drummer 1.. .any idea? don’t tell me i have to buy ez drummer 2 to use the metal! expansion?

I purchased Made of Metal. Doesn’t work authorization file Made_of_Metal_EZX.ttauth (ver. EZdrummer 2)

windows 7 32bit using reaper

ez drummer 1.3.2 version

installed update 1.4.0

metal! expansion gives the same warning

If you’ve installed the 1.4.0 EZdrummer update but your EZdrummer still says 1.3.2, did you move the ezdrummer.dll from it’s original install location? If you search for the EZdrummer.dll in Windows, how many ezdrummer.dlls show up?

I don’t see EZdrummer 2 registered to your account. What version is shown on your EZdrummer 2 interface? You need version 2.0.2 to authorize and use the Made of Metal EZX.

now i have 1.4.0

Ok.. i uninstalled everything ez drummer and all the ezx expansions/midi etc that i have from my desktop. I deleted everything Toontrack. I reinstalled only ez drummer and ez drummer updates etc and when i tried to install ezx metal! again and i’m getting the same thing.. what’s going on? I can’t even install previous ezx that was installed now

I’m still waiting to fix this problem? Anyone?

Btw if I buy ez drummer 2 upgrade do I have to uninstall ez drummer 1? And will buying ez drummer 2 fix this problem?

I’ve asked up the support ladder for suggestions as I’m out of ideas. I’ll let you know when I get a reply. It’s Sunday so it probably won’t be until tomorrow.

Ok..but I’m considering upgrading to ez drummer 2… That will definitely solve the problem? Also do I need to uninstall ez drummer 1 before installing ez drummer 2?
