Can’t install Ezmix 2.2.4 using protools LE8, Windows 7 32 bits

Very worried not to have any answer from Toontrack about a problem mentionned a few months ago.

I have ezmix 2.1.5, the update 2.2.4 on my toontrack manager works only as a standalone version, and as soon as installed everything disappear on pro tools 8. The only solution is to remove and return to 2.1.5 which does not allow me to use my recent purchase as Guitar tone milestone, which needs a proper version of ezmix2, as long as it is a 2.2. something… So an expansion can be sold for an ezmix 2 working, except the fact that you can’t use it if you can’t properly install the 2.2…. version. Unbelievable as things become so complicated nowadays. Can you please help me getting the right 2.2.4 working with my equipment. Thanks

The reason that version EZmix 2.15 works and version 2.24 doesn’t is because the old ProTools LE8 only uses RTAS plugins and RTAS is no longer supported since EZmix 2.20.

Ok so all my toontrack plug ins, as Ez drummer, superior drummer 2, Ezmix 2 are all listed in C:/programfiles/vst plugins/ ( Ezmix.dll, for instance. )

Does that make any difference, as long as I can use all my toontrack vst plugins without any trouble. It’s only with the 2.2.4 Ezmix.

The VST versions can be used for DAWs that support VSTs. ProTools LE8 only supports RTAS plugins.
