Using a PC not a Mac.
Some names are too long error during extract of zipped folder.
Tried skipping step, but file must be necessary, as software install fails.
Has anyone experienced this issue. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks in advance.
Gary
Please make sure you’re using the Windows extractor and not a 3rd party unzip program. Right click the downloaded EZdrummer lite file and select ‘Extract All’.

Also, if you’re extracting to a location that’s already a very long path, you may still get that error.
The maximum path length in Windows gets a little complicated, but in general it’s 255 characters.
i.e. extract to somewhere like…
“C:Documents and SettingsgfmohamadDesktop”
…rather than…
“C:Documents and SettingsThis happens to be a really long username that’s probably not even a valid Windows user name, but this is just for demonstration purposesDesktopDownloadssample librariesdrums”
