    Hi,

EZbass has no means to play back drum sounds. The Drums MIDI import is for helping EZbass determine a playing style, based on the drum hits.

    Thanks for the quick response!

On one of the tutorials from the EZBass Toontrack website shows someone dragging in drum midi where the bass line is created. (as a side note, this is an amazing bit of technology to do this…wow!), then in the video you hear drums. Was that just edited in to clarify the example?

However, as I want to get into the editing of the song and the bass part and essentially learn the software, I need to hear it back with drums. How do I do this? Do I have to drag the bass track into my DAW, drag the drum track (from EZDrummer2) into my DAW to hear them combined? Would this be the only way to hear them together?

    Thanks,

    Scott

If you have your drum track on the EZD2 Song Track in your DAW and drag to EZbass as long as Follow Host is  active in EZD2 and EZbass, pressing play in your DAW should sync playback.

Can you give more detail on exactly what you’re doing? Are you using a DAW? Are you dragging from the EZD2 groove browser or from the EZD2 song track?

EZBass documentation on this is not clear. The impression is that you can drag a EZ drum2 file into ez bass and they would then play together. That is what happens in the tutorials and no other explanation of how to do this is given.  A list of the steps, and the necessary platform to do this would be useful.
