Can't hear anything when I play my exported wav file

When I export my song to wav file onto my desktop and open it in windows media player there is no sound. What is going wrong? Am I meant to render it before exporting or something like that? If so, how do I do it?

• Can you play anything with Windows Media Player while having EZdrummer 2 running?
  • If not: can it be because the audio driver (ASIO?) is set up to work with EZdrummer 2 while it’s running, e.g. no other software will have any audio?
• Can you check the audio files in a DAW to see it they have recorded the audio correctly?
