    Hello,

I’ve been tracking drums with my Efnote 7x into Studio One and for some reason the cymbal chokes aren’t getting recorded even though they are registering in SD3. I have both “single choke mode” and “lower choke threshold” activated and I don’t even see the midi note on Studio One.

I even tried using the SD3 tracker and the cymbal chokes are registering through there in MIDI, so I know for a fact that it’s Studio One.

Is there any setting to fix this? Please let me know! Thanks!

    Hi there,

First place to look would be in Studio One under Settings> External Devices.

Open the EfNote 7x configuration and make sure that aftertouch is not being filtered.

    Hey Brad,

Thanks so much for the reply. I went into those settings and it is currently not checked and I still have no luck with getting the cymbal chokes to record through MIDI. Do you have any other options?

    Thanks!

I don’t use the same edrum kit however I found this previous thread that hopefully shines some light on the issue.
