Can’t get Snap-to Quantization to work in Grid Editor with Shaker

I have the Toggle Snap “On.” I have snap-to-grid options set to Quantization in the Options Menu dropdown. I have the grid resolution set to 1/8th notes for a shaker. I lasso a string of the diamond markers on the grid and try to Quantize them to 100, and they don’t react at all.

I’m thinking maybe it has to do with the “future hit” nature of the shaker and tambo instruments? Things are getting out of time. What’s the best way to approach this? How do you get the tambourine and shaker in time with the beat and resolution?
