I’ve only been using SD3 for about a week and I had it connected at first, but it’s stopped working and the only thing I can think is that I may have accidentally changed a setting somewhere.
On the TD-50X:
Midi: Local Control: off, Midi Channel: 16ch, Program Change Tx/Rx: off, Sort thru Midi/USB Midi: off, Transmit edit data: off
USB Audio: Driver Mode: Vendor, Input Gain -6db, Audio Routing: Normal
I installed the USB driver on my MBP and when I go to TD-50X tab in System Preferences it shows the TD-50X available. In Logic Pro I can select it as the Audio Input/Output device. In SD3 under MIDI In/E-Drums I have Use Preset “on” and it’s set to TD-50X. Under Audio/MIDI Setup I have the output device set to TD-50X and under the MIDI Device tab the TD-50X is selected.
It will output to the headphones connected to the TD-50X when I manually press one of the drum icons in SD3 or when I output my MBP audio, but when I hit a pad it doesn’t register at all. It did it when I first set it up and if I change the USB Driver Mode to “Generic” it will record the midi in Logic and trigger the SD3 plug-in, but the USB driver in System Preferences says it’s not connected, it doesn’t show up in Logic Pro Audio preferences as an Input/Output device and it still won’t play in the SD3 app.
I’m at a loss. When Driver Mode is set to “Vendor” it shows as if it’s connected to everything properly, but it’s not receiving any signal, when it’s set to “Generic” it will register in Logic, but it’s not showing up anywhere else and either way it won’t work in the SD3 app. I’ve also tried a few different USB cables.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
