SOLVED: The issue was in the DM10 brain. When I factory reset it, the X Talk settings were way too high and once i adjusted them, everything worked perfectly. Thank you all.
I have a 2017 Macbook pro with Monterey 12.7.2 and an Intel 2.9ghz quad core cpu with 16gb RAM and an onboard nvme.
I am using up to date SD3 with Alesis DM10 brain that has also been factory reset to no avail with the below issue. I have selected the preset for Alesis DM10 for the proper kit and midi notes.
I have hi-hats, 1 snare, 1 bass drum, 3 rackmount toms, 1 floor tom, 3 crash cymbals and one ride. Everything is multi zone including cymbals and each zone triggers fine when testing each zone individually.
Issue:
When I hit the bass drum and the crash cymbals at precisely the same time, only the bass drum triggers and can be heard. If I offset hitting them by a few milliseconds, I can hear them both. This sometimes happens with the Hi-Hats and cymbals but not as much.
I can’t find anything in the manual close to mentioning an issue like this.
It happens in my DAWs, Logic Pro, Garageband and Reaper as well as SD3 standalone so it’s not isolated to any one particular thing.
I am so lost!!! Can anyone tell me what I’m missing here? This didn’t happen with SD2 so it’s gotta be me.
Let me know if you need more info.

Platform: MacOS Monterey 12.7.4
The first thing to do is to watch the drums page in SD3 and see what hits show when you hit the kick and crash at the same time. That will tell you that the DM10 is sending the correct notes. If that doesn’t tell you anything then download the free MIDI utility snoize – run it and it will tell you what’s being sent from the brain. Of course there’s always the usual adjust the pad sensitivity and crosstalk on the DM10.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced Cow and Scott EshlemanThis has been solved. It turned out the X Talk settings on the DM10 by default are way too high. Once I adjusted them, it fixed everything. Thank you for your input. I had forgotten to reply.
