After installing both the 32 and 64 bit versions of ezdrummer 2 I can only find the .dll file for the 32 bit version.

Please install the Toontrack Product Manager and install EZD2 from there.

I have tried for two freaking days, so please. Do not give me one of those simpleton advices. Your forums, answers, tutorials and manuals are completely useless. Even two studio-engineers couldn’t figure out what the heck was wrong, and neither could I. All files have been accounted for. Deletes and installs. Check-up in 32 or 64 bit. Directions. Locations. EVERYTHING.

Well, if you install and run the Toontrack Product Manager it will tell you what is installed and where it is located and whether you have either the 32-bit or 64-bit ezdrummer.dll installed and where it is installed to. (Although the pic below show Superior Drummer, installing EZD2 from will show the same install options.)

I know there is frustration when things don’t install correctly. But if you don’t/won’t follow the Product Manager install advise, how would you like my to help you?

The only installer I can find is a 32 bit installer. The 32 bit installer says it can install both the 32 and 64 bit plugin versions but how can a 32 bit installer install a 64 bit program or file? If the installer ran at 64 bit I understand how it can install both 32 and 64 but I didn’t think it worked the other way around. I may be completely off too so I do apologize if I am off base.

In any case, I still cannot find the 64 bit .dll file anywhere on my system. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

Is there by chance a place I can download a 64 bit version of the installer for ezDrummer 2?

This is the prompt you get when installing 32-bit. It asks if you want to install the VST plugin within your 32bit VST plugin folder. When you run the 64bit application you don’t get this prompt. It does not install the 64 bit version. I have only had this issue after having to reinstall.

Start EZDrummer standalone, select Help> Show plug-in path. That should display the path where the .dll file resides.
