New releases and tons of deals – all centered around one of our favorite themes: rock! Power up your songwriting toolbox!
Hello all,
I purchased EZDrummer thru Guitar Center as a receipt code (no box, just a receipt w/ a code).
The download from ToonTrack went well (no errors). The product is registered. I read the “readme.rtf” which said
“To install simply double click the ‘EZdrummer Installer’ included in this archive.”. I clicked on the file EZdrummer Installer.msi (I expected to
see an “exe” file but this was the closest file name to what was described so I cranked it) and the install started up. All seemed to go well.
However, the install just ended; nothing about restarting, nothing about “do you want to start EZD”, etc. I went to the Windows START button
expecting to see a “new program installed” msg but nothing. And there was no mention of EZD in the start-all programs menu. I looked for an
EZD exe file and found none.
Can someone tell me what’s going on? Do I need to also execute the “Toontrack solo Installer.exe” file?
Thanks All for any help.
EZdrummer is a VST/AU/RTAS instrument plugin that can be used as such in a host like Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, Sonar, Logic, etc. and can be loaded per host’s instructions.
OR it can be loaded in Toontrack’s own host, Solo.
