    Hi guys,
Thanks for the posts, so let’s continue!
EZ drummer only loads when I run the program as administrator (as suggested).
I’ve restarted windows, I’ve checked to make sure there is only one ezdrummer.dll file and there is only one.

I’m not sure what I’m looking for regarding read/write. When I look at file properties, of ezdrummer.dll there’s a box that says read only, but it is unchecked.
What folders and files do I need to check and what am I looking for, or need to change?

Now sonar won’t start at all if I just double click the shortcut, I get the error message straight away. It only works in run as administrator.

    Thanks in advance.

The Run as Administrator is a Win 7 issue. It’s not a bug, it’s how it works. Basically, a safe guard to keep bad programs downloaded from the Internet or other users on your computer from making changes to files that they shouldn’t make. When you run as an administrator, you tell Win 7 that’s it’s ok, you own the machine and you know what your doing, let the programs that I am about to run have their way. You can set it up to where it will always run Home Studio as an administrator. I’m sure a Google search will give you the proper procedure for that.

The force stereo issue should have been handled by Sonar Home Studio. If you have a mind to, you might fill out a Problem Report on the Cakewalk website that states what happened, what you expected to happen as well as your remedy. Hopefully, the next time they do an update, they can see why it happened and try to fix it.
