Can’t drag loops into timeline from EZdrummer interface.

Hi all.  I’m having a weird problem suddenly after years of using EZdrummer.  I can no longer drag loops from the EZ drummer interface into my timeline in FL studio.  However when I close my project, it completes the drag just before FL studio closes!

As you can see, only when I close fl studio, the midi data gets sent to my timeline.  Any idea what’s going on?

 

 

EZdrummer version: 2.2.3
Operating system: Windows 11

A workaround might be launching FL as Administrator.

Hey thanks for the reply.  I actually tried this, but didn’t seem to work.

One thing I noticed is that it works fine in a fresh project, but doesn’t seem to work properly on any projects that I’ve worked on.  Might be clashing with a plugin or something.

You’ve most likely thought of this, but switch off all plugins and back on one by one. See if the problem stops and when it starts again.
