Can’t Delete Notes (or Blocks) in Groove Editor with Delete Key

I’m using version 3.1.0 and as the title states, the delete key doesn’t work in the Grid Editor. I have to right click each note or series of notes and select Remove or Cut Notes. The same is true for Blocks.
