Hi all,
I’ve got a strange problem: I can not change the velocity of a single note with my mouse.
When I click on a note/velocity point SD alsways selects and changes every articulation/note of the snare e.g.
So the only why is to select one note and change it on the left side with the slider. This is very annoying.
Is there any solution?
Thanks, Dennis
EDIT: Okay, just found another thread on this topic. Hope it get fixed soon
I have the same problem! I’ve been using superior 3 for the last two years on every session and I just noticed it a month or so ago. Please help toontrack this is a workflow killer.
This is an acknowledged bug, as noted on various other threads in this forum. Toontrack has a fix that they are testing at the moment. There is no ETA as of the release yet. However, there are workarounds such as using the shift key when selecting your notes, and/or using the volume slider.

Thanked by: Dennis PfaffOMG, I’m not the only one annoyed by this. I’m glad to here it’s actually a bug and a fix is coming.
I just switched from Windows to Mac and this is not a problem on the Windows version. I was doing it side by side last night in agony like, “WTFFFFF?!”
I did find a workaround using the pencil tool though. You can draw across only the velocities you want to change but this is obviously annoying and shouldn’t be necessary. Also hard to have pinpoint accuracy with this method.
This was causing me about a half hour of fumbling around. I wish they would place a pinned thread here, and perhaps send emails to users opted into the newsletter if something like this bug crops up. (I can understand why they wouldn’t want to call attention to a bug though, as they are all dependent on their incomes from the reputation of the company.) I even tried “the solution” (using the shift key to deselect and select, keeping the shift key held, then adjusting the velocity point/s you have selected at that point).
Its fine if that’s even the way it works (although too many steps to be convenient) – but it would be a shame for many users to be wasting valuable time, when they vaguely know how it was working normally before an update. We music software users are keeping in our heads millions of GUIs and workflows, and we need help!
Version 3.2.7 which fixes this has been released now.
