Can’t automate EZ Drummer in PT 7.3?

I was trying to automate in the mixer section of EZ Drummer 1.2 and there is way to do it. What am I not understanding?

There is no automation of EZdrummer parameters but you can multi-out into PT and mute/solo automation there.

That’s a shame… I just got EZDrummer tonight, thinking that you could fully automate all the parameters just like in Addictive Drums, but alas, no dice…

Can you do this type of detailed parameter automation in Superior Drummer 2.0?

Hi,

there is no mixer automation in Superior 2, no. If you need to automate mixer faders, you route the plugin outputs to separate faders in Pro Tools, just as Scott suggested.

Oh, wow… Okay. I was really hoping that you could automate the actual effects parameters (like EQ, compression, distortion, etc.) that Superior Drummer 2 provides, not just the volume levels of the mixer. But thanks…

Are there any plans to add this type of detailed automation to the plugin? Like I said, Addictive Drums does this, out the box—every single parameter is automatable.
