I cannot figure out how to turn the volume down on “one” kick drum” note at a time. It would be nice if a draggable volume line were on each diamond note, but NOT. How do you do this without affecting the entire bass drum notes on the edit play style? This should be more intuitive; I can’t find it in the manual either. It says go to not pitch and volume, but that doesn’t work. Please help!

You can set the velocity for each note separately in the Grid Editor, see the attached screenshot.
