Cannot pin nodes to EQ curve

I am able to pin nodes to curve by double clicking curve as per manual but very occasionally this doesn’t work and it is driving me nuts as I cannot work out why. I have attached example screenshot and to show it I have used “snare exaggerator” preset – 2 separate channels side by side. In one case it is OK and in other case the nodes don’t pin to curve. I have tried deleting and resetting and nothing works. PLEASE help before I go mad. What am I doing wrong or is there a bug ??

Could you save an EQ preset with something like in the right-side picture? Then try to load it. If it’s still the same, please attach it here (use “Manage in Explorer” to get to the file).

Do you mean that sometimes when you select the Snare Exaggerator preset, it looks like a flat curve? Is it only a graphical issue or does it also sound the same as a bypassed effect?

Thanks for the response Olof. I got around it by saving the preset in another channel and then copying back into the channel that had the issue.

I have now done what you suggested so attached below is my saved version of the snare exaggerator that was showing a flat curve and nodes not attached to line. From what I can tell there is no change in sound with effect on or off so it looks like it is not just graphical and affects sound as well. cheers, Andrew

So are you not able to load the standard Snare Exaggerator in the affected channel? What if you remove the EQ and create a new one in its place, can you do it then?

Copy-dragging it there from another channel was what worked?

Is this reproducible in a new project in a specific channel in a specific library preset? Or only in a certain project? If the latter, could you upload such a project as well?
