So, I’m pretty damned angry.
I needed to reinstall EZDrummer 1. I came here to download it. I extracted the files. There is no option for me to install the 64 bit version. I hvae no idea what version is installed, but Ableton won’t read it. I’m guessing it’s the 32 bit version.
I open the the Read Me. Says I need to go to the webite to download the 64 bit update. Go to the website. No option to download a 64 bit update. No way to specify in what Idid download, no option to download an update.
What are you guys playing at here? I have a demo to finish and you’re holding up the show.I’ve installed this four times, and still no EZDrummer in my plugins.
WTF.
Ableton tech support is worthless. And you guys have no one to call.
I need a hand here. I have the latest version downloaded from the “my products” section, and I don’t have the dough to drop on upgrading to EZDrummer 2. There was no option in the zipfile or the extracted files to chose between 32 and 64. I downloaded the version for PC. It would stand to reason that that is the 64 bit version. I’ve installed EZDrummer to where I keep my Track and Amplitube VST’s. Ableton finds those no sweat, but can’t find EZDrummer. What the hell is happenming?
Help! Before I tear my hair out! This used to work fine. What the hell changed? I’m going to unininstall EZDrummer. Hopefully someone can give me a blow by blow on how to fix this issue.
You probably just need to download, unzip/extract and apply the latest update.
Have you logged into your Toontrack account ?
All registered downloads, including updates are accessed via your Toontrack account under “My Account > My Products”.
I’m using a PC. It looks like you’re using a MAC. I might be wrong.
Anyway, So, after I download the latest version of EXDrummer 1, I then download the update for it? It doesn’t come included?
The latest update includes both 32-bit and 64-bit EZD updates. No, the 64-bit version is not in the full product download.

Dude, thanks a million.
Seriously, thank you, I’ve been losing my mind over here, haha.
Just for my own future edification, is EZDrummer 2 worth taking a look at? Will my EZ Drummer 1 stuff be obsolete if I make the move?
All EZXs and MIDI packs that work in EZD1 will work fine in EZD2. In fact, all EZXs are updated (updated graphics and presets) to take advantage of the effects under the hood of EZD2. Plus, the MIDI is searchable in the EZD2 browser using the Tap2Find function.
