What do you want to achieve with SD3? Are you using it with an electronic drum set? Or are you using it in another way, e.g. with computer recording software (DAW)? Please be more specific of what you want and why you can not get what you want. Am willing to help, but need more info.

I totally get it, what you’re saying, and your frustration. I am an ‘older guy. Persevere push through. It’s worth it but I use SD# only for creating drum tracks in order to write music and then record using Pro Tools. It took me a couple of months to get the ball rolling. The learning curbs are steep for sure. But with each painful step you actually are learning more than you realize. If you can be more specific I might be able to help

I don’t understand this! In this day and age, there is a multitude of material available on YouTube which should cover every conceivable type of useage, whether playing with a physical kit, dragging and dropping loops or manually adding within a DAW!

Any new interface can be hard to learn. The problem is usually exasperated if for instance you are trying to learn midi and audio interfaces and how it all works together. As mentioned there is a huge amount of good tutorials out there. When I originally bought Cubase for the Atari I had to learn the Atari, Cubase, midi, syncing to tape and much more with no internet to help. You need to put the time and effort in.

What is really important though is letting people know on here exactly what you are trying to do and at what point you get stuck.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
