I can play the grooves and hear them (or click on a tom/snare/cymbal and hear it), but I cannot drag/drop the files.
I am calling (I don’t know the proper term) Ezdrummer this way:
Inserts A-E>
Multichannel plug-in>
Instrument>
Ezdrummer (stereo)
I am also using it on an ‘instrument’ track (not midi/audio, etc). When the EZdrummer window pops up, it says RTAS at the top (which, I believe, indicates the correct one has been installed). I am using Windows Vista 32 SP2.
Oddly, I can use the MIDI Editor and assign sounds manually.
Also, when a groove is playing the MIDI at the bottom of the EZdrummer window does not light up. I was watching a tutorial where a guy said it should light up. Anyway, I’d really appreciate your help as I am VERY new at this and have spent the better part of my day hoping to solve the issue.

Hi,
first of all make sure you have the latest available version installed, at the moment 1.2.0.
Next, try right-clicking the Pro Tools.exe file in the Explorer and select to Run as Administrator.
Next time you start up Pro Tools and the Session, drag-and-drop should work.
Best Regards,
John
