Cannot drag audio into Follow Bandmate window

When I try to drag an audio or midi file into the Follow Bandmate window it will not accept it. I’m using loops from Logic Pro 11.2.1 or midi that I created.  I searched the FAQ, forum, and googled but didn’t find any solutions.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what make be keeping me from dragging the audio into Bandmate?  Thanks for your time and input.  Let me know if you need more info.
