Cannot add delay to Hand Claps

I have hand claps, (one Shot), from EZ Drummer 3 going to it’s own stereo channels 11/12,  They can be heard but nothing registers on the volume meter. If I mute the overhead and ambience channels they are then muted but I see no signal on the actual one shot channels assigned to the hand claps. Because of this I can not add a slap back delay on the hand claps. What I am doing wrong?

 

UPDATE- I created a new track and assigned channels 11/12 and it is now working. The original track has been removed.
