Can you insert a new section in a project created in EZDrummer 2?

Using EZDrumme2 in standalone mode. I’ve created a song but now I want to insert another verse section using a previous verse. Do I have to drag everything I’ve already put after that section, and then copy and paste, or is there a way I can insert a copied section?

Hi,

Shuffle Insert or Ripple Delete does not work on the Song Track. I just zoom out with the Zoom handles and lasso+drag the parts.

Hi — I’m new to EZ Drummer and don’t know the terminology. Is there a tutorial or user guide that would explain terms like Shuffle Insert, Ripple Delete, Zoom handles, lasso+ drag, etc.? All the support I’ve found seems to focus on EZD 2, and assumes I already know the basics from 1. But I don’t! Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

sorry if I add to your confusion – the terms I used above were just kind of general Digital Audio Workstation terms to describe behaviors. ‘Shuffle Insert’ and ‘Ripple Delete’ does in other words not exist in EZdrummer 2. The OP wished for functions like that.

I have noted that it would be a good idea to be able to choose how the blocks should be inserted – as now (remove whats beneath) or by moving the blocks to the right (shuffle mode). We’ll see we can get that into the program
