So the problem is for some reason that I dont’ know, when I try to play the drum pattern that I edited in the grid editor, no matter I click the “play” in DAW(mine is fl studio), or the “play” inside the superior drummer 3, neither makes sound, and there won’t be instant flash in the virtual drum kit view. However, when I click the drum part alone in the virtual drum kit view, it does flash and make a shound. I try to load in another SD3 plugin, and it works well. Based on these evidence, can you tell me what might go wrong? many thanks.
If more evidence is needed I’m willing to provide it, many thanks!
We’re going to need more details in order to help you. Perhaps post and Superior Drummer project and a screenshot to start.

Thanked by: BradLet’s start with the obvious… is Follow Host enabled?
Pending that, what is your routing into your DAW like?

Thanks for the replying! However I think I already found the problem, it seems like it’s simply because I click the “solo” of the kick at the left of the grid editor, as graph 1,
then I cancel the “solo”
makes it look like have no difference with didn’t do either of the steps. However instead of cancel the solo of the kick and make everthing can be heard again, cancel the “solo” in graph 2 only mute the kick, but didn’t bring back evething else? so everything went silent, I don’t know why it would lead to this situation, is this some kind of the bug? what’s the difference between two solo button at different place in the plugin?
Okay, I bought my Superior 3 from a store 3 years ago, I bought the Program, and the Sounds on a Sound Card.
Everything worked tor a long time, and then one day it didn´t. So, now I have the full program installed, and it works in the the computer, but I can´t play the sounds.
So, something has to be wrong with the triggering. I´m using a Roland TD.8. It worked perfectly when I first installed it, so I don´t know what the problem is.

I think you would be better to start a new thread as this is probably not related.
If you look at libraries in sd3 does it show any? Is the drive plugged in and can you browse to it? You should be able to test the td8 is sending midi by turning local off in the midi settings and looping a midi cable from midi out to midi in. If the module sounds play then the td8 is sending midi. Next is testing the midi interface. Have you selected the midi interface in the audio/midi settings and the audio interface? Can you record notes in sd3 (even if you don’t hear them) if you can then midi us getting to sd3.

Hi Mark King,
Thanks for trying to help. Answer to you questions, 1.Yes. 2. Yes. The system works with Logic Pro. It´s an outside problem.
I´ll try some of these other things. I just wondering why if doesn´t work. Like when I bought the system, it worked without changing anything.
Best,

On my 2nd pc I started it up and the midi interface was not ticked. I take it you have looked at that? Computers sometimes do strange things. That setting is irrelevant once in a DAW

if you are not getting sounds in standalone then check your audio/MIDI settings in Superior Drummer. Since everything seems to be working in Logic, it just sounds like a configuration issue.
