I use EZD2 which does not enable you to dampen the toms (release envelope). Does anyone know if this functionality is now available in EZD3? -Regards.
I don’t think it can. Tuning the floor tom higher helps keep it from ringing so much. Your DAW might let you send a tom to its own channel, where you can set a gate. I’ve not tried it.
Thanks for the reply and advice. I have heard that Superior Drummer has this functionality in the latest version though. -Regards.
Hi, that is correct.
In Superior Drummer 3 you have an ‘Envelope and Offset’ Property Box where you can control Attack, Decay, Hold, Sustain, Release, Release Trigger, Curve Slope and Offset.
This is not available in EZdrummer 3.
