You can either add an instrument or use the ones already there. Just click on the instrument then go to the menu directly above which shows you the instrument you have selected. Open the menu and click search for instruments. On the far left select Superior Drummer 3 Electronic. You can then limit what you look at by clickin on the fields further to the right. To deselect click on one again.

    Hi,

the folder containing the Electronic Sounds is named ‘SL-SD3_Electronic’.
On Mac, the location would be
    {Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/Superior Drummer 3/

    On Windows, it would be
    C:ProgramDataToontrackSuperior Drummer 3

I do think that this path will be picked up automatically, though, if you have run the latest Superior Drummer 3 installer.

I installed SD3 on 9/17/17 on Windows7 64bit and don’t see my ‘SL-SD3_Electronic’ folder. Nor do I see a SD3 Standalone library path for electronic setup under settings/libraries. When I searched under “Add Instrument” tab, I did find the individual electronic sounds. Also, my library presets incorporating electronic sounds load fine. Should I download the latest SD3 installer or is my system setup properly? I figured there would be SD3 Electronic MIDI files to demonstrate some EDM/Pop grooves.

    Hi Frederick,

if you can load the Electronic sounds all is well, no need to reinstall.
