    Hi,

do you mean that you open S2 Project files in SD3 or that you switch to an S2 SDX in SD3?

You can open S2 User (Combined) Presets from an SDX but do not find Kit piece and Mixer presets under Part Presets?

The latter is not possible but is easily solved by saving your kit(s) as Combined Presets in S2, then you can open them in SD3.

okay-I have a combined preset–a kit that i tweaked by replacing cymbals-etc-fixing up a preset that I liked and just made it better to my liking. The preset is a combined mixer/kit thing and I saved that kit and name in SD2 and have used it a  lot on many projects.  I’m not sure how to get SD3 to see this preset from my SD2…what field do I look at where I can open a folder to load it…?…

    Thanks again for any help

    Hi,

with the main library you used for your Preset loaded, they should be seen in the bottom of the preset list, like in my attached screen shot.

Here is a screen shot side by side with yours. I created a new drumkit by starting out with NY Hit Factory and changing up a preset they had. I used the mixer preset and switched out some cymbals then saved thaT KIT AND USED ON COUNTLESS PROJECTS. I do not see a SD2 Preset tab like you have in the menu…

    OK,

did you save that as a Project file or Preset? It should be visible in the ‘Combined Presets > User Presets’ list in Superior 2.
