hey guys.I’m new to EZD2 just wondering why i can’t get a 100% match in tap to find no matter how simple i create the groove. any reason why.. do i need to buy more ex packs?
You can try searching using the ‘Show Web Shop MIDI’ at the top of the Search page to check all Toontrack MIDI libraries (even the ones you don’t own) for the best match.

I attached a MIDI file which you can drag and drop to your tap2find MIDI drop zone. That file should give you some 100% matches.
(You should first rename the file to tap2find.mid since I had to rename it to tap2find.wav to be able to post it on this forum.)
Let us know how that goes

when i do that i do get 100%..but a simple snare kick beat should be 100% i would think. because in that case than id have to buy it. not trying to be stingy but a simple beat like that should be included.. if i have to buy ex packs i will but this is crazy.
That’s really strange. I have a blues MIDI kit and a jazz one, but I can’t imagine they’re augmenting my rock grooves much. When I do a simple kick – snare – kick – snare, I get dozens and dozens of 100% matches.
Can you give an example of what kind of beat you are tapping in? For me, EZdrummer 2 finds plenty of 100% matches as long as I keep the tapped beats as simple as the one I attached…

just a simple kick snare. wasn’t able to use the midi file you sent me but thanks anyways..
I added the MIDI files that should give you 100% matches.
Can you post a MIDI file of what you are using in Tap2Find? (You can simply drag the MIDI file that ends up under the Tap2Find button).
