can I use midi files to build new songs in ezdrummer?

I have EZdrummer2 today which I find very useful. But can I use midi files to build new songs in ezdrummer? so I can load midi files from Swedish dance music and traditional old dance / accordion music, wals, polka, etc.

My music demo from 2008:

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: Windows 10

Yes, you can drag in different MIDI files into EZdrummer 2. Most MIDI files with drums will work, but some may have different mapping (so that the hi-hat notes plays a tom, for example). But try it and get back here for further questions you may have after testing!
