Can I trigger SD3 with multiple Modules?

Hi,

I am currently triggering SD3 with a Roland TD-50 and I am getting a new (used) TD-27. I am not sure what the best setup to trigger SD3 might be:

1. To Midi Out from the TD-27 into Midi In on the TD-50 and have SD3 only “see” the TD-50?
2. To connect both the Td-50 and TD-27 to my Mac via USB (separate USB ports) and see if SD3 can see and use both Modules at the same time?
3. Any other setup configuration I may be missing?

SD3 can use more than one midi input so I would connect both. You need to change the output note numbers on one of them otherwise they will both send the same notes

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

I am currently using two drum modules connected individually through USB and SD3 sees both and allows me to select both.
