Can I process just one layer of a sample?

    You could duplicate the snare then put all ghost notes onto one snare and the other notes onto the other and then process them separately

    SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Hi,

    I’d go with Mark King’s advice to create a duplicate Snare and create a separate Mixer channel for it.

    Thanks, everyone. Gotta admit: solution is as simple as it is clever; but I honestly just didn’t think of it this way, as I was trapped in ‘this snare sound is part of this track’.
