Can I add the cowbell to the rim of floortom 1?

Dear community,

 

I work with dual zone ATV floortoms and want to assign a cowbell sound to floortom 1. I can not figure out how to do that. Help appreciated.

Try this

 

Right click on the handclap graphic in Drums tab and choose cowbell.

 

Settings – > E-drums/MIDI Input – > Mapping

 

Click on the cowbell and then Learn in mapping. Hit the tom rim.

The only question I have here is: are you looking to replace the tom rim with a cowbell or have it play the cowbell along with the tom rim. If it’s the former then follow Mick’s directions. If it’s the latter, you would be better off using two instances with both the tom rim and cowbell mapped to the same MIDI note.
