Can I have a one note melody and use EZ-Keys to find chords for those single note? Or do it already have to be a chord?
Thanks in advance.
Since there needs to be at least 2 notes to make a ‘chord’, EZKeys can’t analize/guess what the intended chord is given just one note.

Microsoft Songsmith was designed to do this.

Sing your melody into Songsmith, tweak it, let it make some chords. Then move those chords over to EZKeys.
I tried it once. It’s a fairly ambitious effort to make something that will derive intelligent chords from a melody. I’ve gone to great lengths to be able to determine my own chords over the years so not terribly useful to me.

Thank you for the information, I’m looking into Songsmith, I knew nothing about this program maybe because it’s not considered a pro music app. But it just may be of some use for myself. Thanks again to everyone.
