I am having similar problem … EZ Drummer working fine in Cubase but despite adding VST path (where toontrack products installed) to Cakewalk preferences (where should scan for instruments) … it won’t find EZDrummer. Very frustrating!

I normally use Reaper and have no trouble with EZD2. I recently downloaded a free version of Cakewalk and cannot figure out how to get ez drummer to work with it. I see it in the vat plugins and I get it to load on a track but I cannot get it to run like it does in reaper. If I hit play in cakewalk it does nothing to ezdrummer. When I hit play in reaper ezdrummer starts and I load my grooves into ezdrummer as it is playing very simple. What am I doing wrong with cakewalk?

Hi, does anything sound at all in Cakewalk? If yes, does EZD2 sound when you click on the drums, is it just the song track that does not start?

Hi, make sure that you have both EZD2 and Cakewalk in the matching 32/64-bit versions.
