[Bug Report] Humanize not working when only Percussion is selected

Ah, the more I work with EZ Drummer 3 the more I love it – great job, Toontrack!

Here is another little bug I found:

The Humanize function does not work when only a Percussion instrument is selected.
It does work when at least one other “regular” drum note event is selected – yes, in that case Humanize also works for the percussion notes!

Also it seems that Humanizing the Micro Timing on the percussion notes does not work as expected, only on the velocity.

Can someone confirm this behaviors / bug?

Hi!

For now, the Humanize functionality that you are referring to is not available for percussion instruments, this is why the Humanize button is disabled while only percussion notes are selected. The slight variation in velocity applied to percussion notes drawn in the Grid Editor derives from another system made for percussion instruments only.

 

There is generally a slight variation in the micro timing of the percussion samples making them sound more natural even when quantized to the grid.
