Found this last night. Using Studio One Pro 2.5.2. MacBook Pro, Mountain Lion 10.8.3.
Created one instance of EZkeys. Dragged some MIDI to it. No problems.
Created another instance of EZkeys on another track. Without engaging the play head, this instance of EZkeys plays normally. Whenever engaging Play, the notes are now truncated, or “cut-off”. It happens whether you are playing the notes via midi controller or if you draw the notes in. It doesn’t even sound like they are just playing naturally short. They seem to just be terminated right after the note is struck. I tried it in two different sessions, just in case the session was corrupted or something, but no difference.

I can reproduce this. It seems to be an issue with the AU-version only.

Thanks! Glad we were able to quickly confirm this. I’ll move to the VST. It’s funny, because I moved to using all AU because I found a bug with Studio One and EZmix VST. No bug with the EZmix AU in that regard. It was related to crashing. I’ll just have to mix and match my AU and VST, even though PreSonus support suggests you avoid it, if possible.
Thanks again for confirming that so quickly.
