ShootieI been working with brushes lately and just trying to understand all capability. My last stop is trying to perform the specific articulation of a “Swirl” on a vkit. After trial and error and now reading a post in the SD3 forum, I think I’m coming to the conclusion that an articulation that is more than a hit and is only for programming, not for performing on a Electric Snare with a CC value. Can anyone confirm this with confidence?
Thanks for your time!

JohnHi Shootie,
you’re right. In short, V-drums have an internal system for solving brush swirls which isn’t conveyed via MIDI.
So other than just triggering a swirl as a hit, you will have to program the swirls for realistic performance.
