Bouncing from DAW and retaining MIDI In settings

I’ve created drum tracks in Logic.  I want to bounce the separate mics out.  It seems I have to import the drums as a midi file into the song track, which I did.  However, when I play the track back in the song track it does not retain the MIDI In settings.  Is there a way to bounce and retain those settings?

Hi,

 

the easiest way to get your MIDI to your Song Track is to click Record on the SD3 Song Track and then play through the song in Logic.

If you Import a MIDI file to your Song Track, be sure to have the check mark in the ‘Apply Xxx Preset?’ box if you have a MIDI Preset active.

Hey John, thanks for responding.  I answered in another thread as well.    I eventually realized that I did indeed have an early version of SD3.  Once I updated to the latest version, I saw that the option to use a user mapping had been added.  All is happy now!
