bought SD3 – worthy to keep SD2 installed?

    If you have projects that use the S2 plugin, and want to open them in the future, you would want to keep S2 installed. S3 won’t replace any instances of S2 in previous projects in your host DAW. They are 2 separate plugins.

    thank u so much for ur reply! I don’t have projects with S2, but I was wondering if the midi / grooves and sounds of SD 2 are different than SD3? midi files are a great help in tap to find (I have ezdrummer 2), so if the files are different, I’d like to know.

    I’m still downloading them, so I can still not install them :] thanks in advance!!!

    The sound library from S3 is different than the original S2 library yes. And the default S2 MIDI library is different from the S3 MIDI library. You can definitely keep the sound library and MIDI library from S2 installed.
