Battery 3 Maps

Hi

Has anyone successfully mapped Battery 3. I can see there are a bunch of pre-defined maps for it. However when I set this mapping, and use midi files from the Songwriter’s Pack, it never sounds right.

I tried moving drums around in Battery to the locations being hit and it sounds better. But I’d rather not do this for every kit in Battery.

well the Battery wrapper supplied in EZplayer pro is strictly for GM assembly. This is a generic sampler and as such there are as many ‘maps’ as kits it ships with, or at least it should be expected that few conventions are in place.
