Bandmate keeps playing the wrong bars

I dragged a bass track from my DAW into Bandmate, and it played eight bars of the chorus and gave me a drum groove to fit. I then deleted the track from Bandmate dragged the middle eight into Bandmate. It played the chorus and gave me the same drum groove. I dragged the intro into Bandmate. It played the chorus and gave me the same drum groove as before. I shut the whole song in the DAW, without saving and started again. I dragged the intro into Bandmate, and it did the same as before. Is it always that unhelpful?

Hi Mick, i discovered the same thing as soon as i bought the software, and am still very disappointed, the manufacturers of this whole range of software are in it for the money not to actually make life easy for you , this is the first thing you have to accept, you need to keep buying add ons to make things work a little better even then they made it very hard to actually let you be creative in a fast way, you need to involve a Daw which then does not work with the software in an easy way to speed up your work process, so unfortunately the sad news is ED3 is a good sound module but not so good when you quickly want to be creative with it using your time in a daw like logic and its own drummer facility is probably more efficient and just use EZD3 as a sound source if you like its sounds.

The software manufacturer was concentrating mainly on how to make money on this whole range than how to make the software more useful to the end user, perhaps they will come up with a few useful updates to fix this , but i wouldn’t hold my breath.

My band recorded 18 full songs with ezdrummer as the drum plugin. It worked well with the DAW, giving us a good virtual kit.
