Hi everyone.
Please forgive me if this is a basic question – I am still learning how to work with MIDI.
I am finding that each instance of SD3 I have in my project creates additional background hiss. This hiss is present even when the track is not playing – it is enough just for the track to be there and unmuted. I have turned up some of the volume in the SD3 mixer (because the SD3 patches seem so quiet). I’m really confused as to what could be causing this / what I am doing wrong.
Please could you help?
Thanks

This could be dependent on the preset that you are using. Some of the FX will produce noise as part of their gain structure. ZIP your Logic project (remove any audio tracks) and post it so we can have a look.
