I’m looking to buy a decent piece of drum software to increase the range and quality of sounds and patterns that I mash up on my Zoom Rhythm Trak. I’m looking for software which can sequence the patterns in to songs and was wondering the format in which the samples are in order for them to be ‘dragged and dropped’ in to other software? I’m not looking at breaking the bank on new “studio” software and was wondering if it is compatable with my cheap Magix Music Maker stuff?
Forgive my niavity, I’m quite new to all this computer music lark!

The ‘samples’ themselves can’t be used in other samplers as they are in a proprietary format for Toontrack samplers. What can be dragged and dropped into host DAWs are the MIDI grooves.
