Automating export to DAW?

Hi there,

Is there a way to automate the export to DAW?

I’m creating an initial sequence of MIDI blocks in EZKeys.
I drag and drop them into my DAW (Reaper).
Now I start to improve the song, changing some chords.
I understand I have to delete the previous MIDI blocks in Reaper and then drag and drop again.
I’d like to have a button making all of this for me, in just one click. Would that be possible?
(ideally this button would support 2 options : replace all existing blocks with the new sequence in Reaper, or insert the MIDI sequence from EZKeys at the current position in Reaper).

That is unfortunately not possible (from a technical point of view). Plug-ins that are loaded into DAWs (Reaper, Cubase etc) don’t have any abilities to add things to the DAW’s tracks automatically or by a button. The user has to do that manually…

That is really unfortunate as you say as it makes the whole process much less efficient.
