Automatic kit-change when rendreing/freezing in Reaper

Hey,

today I wanted to render my EzDrummer 2 track in Reaper. But everytime I tried, the kit changed from my custom Metal Machine kit (with parts from Metal!) to the Modern Basic kit. It also randomly changed while playing back the track. Do you know any reasons for that?

which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 interface?

Can you see any MIDI Messages on the track, besides the notes?

In Menu/Settings/MIDI Events, check that MIDI Program Change isn’t allowed. These messages can change presets etc. and are sometimes included in MIDI files, without the users knowing about it…
