Hello, forgive me if this has been covered. I didn’t see anything like this before. Anyway, First off I am a VERY long time Toontrack user I own 99% of all the products that are offered. (My first product was the original DFH sample library.) I have a very early serial number…
Anyway, My recording computer rarely gets connected to the internet. (Maybe once every 4 months) I normally go to the device manager and leave it disabled. Anyway, I went to authorize EZKeys. Everything went fine. What I didn’t notice is that the internet was NOT disabled. Now, evertime I want to use it, it keeps telling me that EZkeys is not authorized, so I keep having to go to the device manager and enabling the internet so that I can use EZKeys.
It seems that if my internet is enabled, my computer ID is one thing, but if the internet is disabled, them my computer ID is another. This is the same computer. I don’t want to use 2 authorizations up for the same computer.
Can someone from Toontrack help me with this one? My question is, can I get another authorization without burning another one up? If I knew this was going to happen, I would have disabled my internet first, then I would have gone ahead and authorized it…
Why does this happen? Is it a bug?
I run Windows 7 64 bit and Cubase 6.5 If anymore info is needed, just let me know.

Hi,
yes, this has been covered but to cut it short; please Authorize with the Network Interface Disabled. If you’re worried about the used up Authorization, it’s no problem. Just Remove the one with the NIC Enabled and I’ll delete it when you tell me to.

John
