I have a studio and run Cubase on a PC. I am new to EZdrummer. I purchased it in Oct. have only fooled around with it for a bit and then realized that I needed the “Nashville” software for the type of work I do.
The store gave me a new box to use to install “Nashville”. My recording computer is not hooked up to the internet so I used my laptop to go online and register my purchase of “Nashville”. I got my authorization code and even got a confirming email on it.
I am trying to open “Nashville” on my studio computer now but it won’t let me open it…every time I put in the authorization code it tells me that “Nashville has failed and to please check the codes and try again.”
Any help? I really need to get this up and running. I have a deadline on a project that I specifically purchased “Nashville” for.
Thank you,
Straybranch
please review the Authorization video available from the support portal, it covers your case alongside the more common method of accessing the site using the workstation EZdrummer is to be used on. Here’s the link:

I have done this several times…I have the authorization code they gave me….and my computer ID # is the same number as when I installed EZdrummer so I’m assuming that’s the correct number. I have installed Nashville and every time I open EZdrummer and try to open Nashville it tells me that it failed and that it needs to be authorized. WHen I put the authorization number in, it tells me that it’s not accepted..
The only thing I can think of is that I installed Nashville from another box instead of using my Original box of EZdrummer cd with Nashville on it.
Would this cause the problem? I’m at a lost seeing that I have both my computer ID number and the authorization code but it keeps denying it.
Help.
Thank you,

as far as I can you have never generated any code for the Nashville EZX and therefore must try to enter the EZdrummer code in the authorization field for Nashville. Again, from the FAQ referenced:
Important note: once again, EZX-s and SDX-s require a similar activation to the base program and although the Computer ID will be identical they do require the generation of a specific code.
… that’s your answer right there in that little extract 🙂
