    Hi,

I would guess you have Enabled or Disabled some kind of Hardware since the generating of Auth codes. Most likely a NIC, i.e. a Network Interface Controller. This causes the Windows configuration list to shuffle and thus generates a different Computer ID.

Hm, that could well be… Yesterday I overclocked my pc and I disabled the JBMicron controller in the BIOS. I think I already disabled the onboard soundcard but maybe I also did that yesterday… Bummer… Didn’t think that would influence this, but that could well be it!

What’s the best thing to do? If I remove the authorization I lose a retry, so to speak, right? My drumkits (I’ve got four) all have their maximum off 2 authorizations, if I’m not mistaken, and EZDrummer itself has got one left out of four, I think. What’s wise…? Remove authorization and ask for some sort of reset when I can’t authorize everything anymore or should I ask for some sort of reset now…? I haven’t been in this situation before, so I don’t know what to do.

Right now I’ve got two authorizations I’d like to keep, for my old pc and my new one.

Decide which state things should be in (i.e. Enabled or Disabled) when you wish to work with EZdrummer. Then you Authorize for this state, using this new Computer ID.
I have deleted your oldest, Inactive Authorization which means you still have 2 free Authorizations left per product.
When you have used up the last one you let us know, either via this Forum or the Support Portal.

Ok, thanks, cool! I will keep things as they are now so I will authorize for this state. Thanks for already deleting the old inactive one! On the site I only saw two green active authorizations, so I thought that was the limit, but I see now it says ‘Total authorizations: 2/4’. Great. But er… (stupid question, maybe: I feel a ‘Duh….-moment’ coming… ) I see no ‘Add authorization button’ or something like that… How can I get to authorization option 3…?

BTW Awesome support! Never expected such a quick reaction at that time of day!!!

You can only have 2 authorizations active at one time. So, you’d need to ‘remove’ one authorization to add another.

Ah, ok, thanks, understood… I thought you had 4 authorizations options, period, but you have 4 authorization possibilities before you can’t authorize anymore at all, and you can only have 2 of those 4 active at any given time. Got it. At last. I will remove the ones I made last weekend.

Sorry for not understanding it sooner…

    EDIT
Just authorized EZD again: worked perfectly. And I noticed I didn’t need to re-authorize the drumkits! Apparently those authorizations are less sensitive to changes.

And I also noticed that all the information about 4 and 2 authorizations can all be read in the mails you get when you authorize something… Stupid me… Some people just don’t read well…
